Basic writing (Describing graphs) <br />☆Learning objectives: <br />We will learn in this class how to: <br />1. get information from a certain kind of graph.. <br />2. use the related vocabularies and sentence structures. <br />3. describe a graph accordingly. <br />Task One：Read and analyze the sample writing of College Entrance Exam2007. <br />Find out how the writer organized the passage and interpreted the information <br />from the graph. The <br />survey shows that half of the girls choose film and TV stars as their idols, while 48% <br />of the boys favour sports stars. As the data shows, “parents” ranks the second for the <br />girls, but the fourth for the boys. However, the percentage of the boys choosing “great <br />figures” is the same as that of the girls.
